Russian accused of shoplifting from Central Festival Pattaya Beach

A 32 year old Russian woman was allegedly caught shoplifting at Central Festival Pattaya Beach on Sunday Night and is accused of taking almost 6,000 Baht’s worth of goods from the shopping center.

Suspicions were aroused when Security Guards spotted Miss Ksenia Sedova carrying a large red Central branded plastic bag which contained one small item. She was followed into a number of stores and in one of them was seen to crouch down and place items inside the bag, making no attempt to pay for them before leaving.

She was followed outside where she was seen to remove labels from the stolen items. At this point she was detained and escorted next door to Pattaya Police Station.

Miss Sedova was very emotional and realized she was in trouble when she was escorted to the prison cells on the second floor of the station after being charged with theft.

    Congratulations to the Tourism Authority of Thailand on their excellence in improving tourism to Thailand, especially Pattaya. The numbers may have gone up but unfortunately the quality has dropped dramatcally. Thieves, drunks, fighting and assaults are increasing and are daily events in the news. A visit to Russia isn’t on my to do list and Pattaya may be dropped soon.

    The quality of the common tourist only continues to get worse every year. Take a few moments and take a look at the Lonely Planet Thailand Forum for good examples of thousands of traveling morons,criminals,drunks that are flooding into Thailand daily. One of numerous reasons i avoid ALL the tourist slums. Pattaya,Phuket, Koh Samui, Chiang Mai,koh Chang etc. Guess what no scams ,no dodgy foreigners,zero problems with the Thai’s.

    Thanks to the PM Thailand is spending itself into a hole along with the spend spend spend attitude of the population. High speed rail,bridge to Koh Samui etc. They sound great on paper but it is going to turn out to be a huge nightmare. Besides where on Samui are they going to park all the cars?
