Late night road accident caused by sleepy driver in Sattahip

Late on Wednesday Night, Police and Rescue Services were called to a serious road accident at a Garden Center located on the Sukumvit Road in Sattahip involving a White Isuzu Pick-up. The vehicle had come off the main road and ended up on its roof at the front of the garden center. The driver, Khun Makapong aged 36, was stuck inside the cab and was carefully removed by rescue workers who were told that the driver had fallen asleep at the wheel and woke up as the vehicle overturned. Police confirmed that a second stationary vehicle, belonging to the owner of the center was damaged as Khun Makapong’s vehicle came off the road. Doctors tell us the driver was not seriously injured. Police have charged the driver over the incident and his first class insurance will be utilized to cover the cost of damage caused to the center and the two damaged pick-up’s.
