Skeletal remains of a man found on Jomtien Beach

Late on Sunday Night, Police Lieutenant Colonel Tailert from Dongtan Police Station was called to Jomtien Beach opposite Soi 18, to investigate the discovery of skeletal remains, of what appeared to be a human. At the scene, he inspected the headless skeleton which was found by Khun Arun aged 23. The skeleton is thought to be that of a male as he appeared to be wearing a pair of underpants but no clues as to the cause of death were apparent. The remains were sent for a post mortem examination to the Police Forensic Institute in Bangkok to determine the cause of death. For now, Police are checking missing person’s reports in an attempt to identify the remains.
