A tragic story now from a luxury house in Bang Saray located just outside of Pattaya. Local Police were called to the house on Tuesday Morning to investigate the drowning of a 3 year old child. At the scene, Police were met by Khun Boonreung aged 41, who is the mother of the child and housekeeper at the property. She was understandably distraught and was being comforted by friends and the owner of the house, Khun Wanidar aged 37. According to the mother, her child was left playing next to a Swimming Pool while she went off to prune some bushes in another part of the garden. 5 minutes later she returned to the pool and found her son face-down in the water. Police examined the scene and questioned the mother and recorded the death as an accident.

The mother didn’t let him next to a simming pool, but IN the swimming pool! That’s why I say it is pure stupidity, ignorance, lack of basic education.
It’s not bad luck. If it is bad luck then I can let a 2 months old boy in the middle of the motorway and if a car hits him I’ll call that bad luck too.
