Although life appears to be returning to normal after the unrest in Bangkok, there is still small isolated incents occurring around Thailand. On Friday Morning, Sattahip Police were made aware of an attack on a sign which had been erected close to the Sattahip Market. The sign wished everyone a Happy New Year from the local branch of the Democratic Party. At the top of the poster, which had been erected in early January, was a picture of Thailand’s Prime Minister, Khun Abhisit which had been covered in red paint. It was clear the attack had taken place within the last 12 hours as fresh red paint was found on the ground close to the poster. Police suspect a small crane was used to elevate someone up to the picture of the Prime Minister. Local Red Shirt Leaders have been contacted but refuse to accept responsibility for the attack on the poster which is still under investigation by Police.
