Since 25th December 2007, Crime Suppression Police from Bangkok have been searching for a man involved in a serious assault which took place in East Pattaya in front of a restaurant. On Wednesday Morning, Police managed to catch-up with the suspect, Khun Wichien aged 40 at a car repair shop in the Sattahip area. He was taken to Banglamung Police Station and handed over to local Police despite the fact that the suspect denies charges against him which were stated in the arrest warrant number 352/2551 dated 3rd March 2008. We understand the delay in issuing the arrest warrant was due to extensive injuries sustained by the victim of the alleged assault. He was only able to make a formal complaint 2 months after the attack took place. Khun Wichien was detained and will appear in court on Thursday.
