German national dies in strange circumstances

27th March 2010

On Friday morning police and Sawang Boriboon rescue volunteers were called to a second floor apartment in a condominium complex in Naklua after being informed of a fatality. Entering the room they discovered the body of 49-year-old Erich Gassner lying on the floor of his bathroom with his head almost underneath a wash basin. There were no signs of blood or abrasions or any kind of disturbance in the bathroom or living area. There also did not appear to be anything stolen or otherwise disturbed in the room. A neighbour had alerted staff at the condo after saying she heard cries for help coming from Mr Gassner’s room which ceased when she heard something heavy fall. Using a spare key a staff member had discovered the body and then called police and medics. A post mortem examination will take place to determine the cause of death and the German embassy has been informed.

The fact is that more expats die in Pattaya than anywhwere else in the world.
There are a number of reasons for this, but I strongly suspect a number of these “unexplained” deaths are due to the high consumption of Viagra which when combined with certain blood pressure medication, can be lethal.
    A warning from a Pharmacologist.
