Suspected Nigerian Drug Dealer arrested near Walking Street

On Monday Morning, Police Captain Jamlat from Pattaya Police Station led an undercover operation at the P.N. Inn off Walking Street. An undercover officer, posing as a drugs buyer, allegedly purchased a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine from Mr. Ikani Ndukaku aged 29 from Nigeria, using marked bank notes. He was caught with a total of 4 packets of Crystal Methamphetamine known in Thailand as “Ya Ice” and 1 packet of Marijuana. It is thought that more of the Crystal Meth had been flushed down the toilet as Police stormed the room. The suspect was taken to Pattaya Police Station where he confirmed that he resides in Nana Soi 3 in Bangkok and had come to Pattaya to send drugs to his customers. Further investigations into his customers, who are thought to be foreign nationals is ongoing at this time while Mr. Ndukaku is behind bars pending a court appearance where he will answer charges of possession of a class 1 and class 5 drug and selling a class 1 drug.
