Belgium Tourist involved in near-drowning incident on Jomtien Beach

On Tuesday Afternoon on Jomtien Beach in front of the Grand Jomtien Hotel, an emergency situation occurred involving a tourist from Belgium, Mr. Raymond Gevaert aged 75. An unusual current caused him to be swept out to sea but he was rescued by a fellow beachgoer. Mr. Gevaert, who was at the beach with his Wife, had swallowed sea water and was in a serious condition and required manual ventilation by a nurse who arrived in a Pattaya Memorial Hospital Ambulance. We understand that Mr. Gevaert is now recovering in Hospital and is expected to make a full recovery according to Doctors.

    Guys A simple Boon Marker accross the bay would help illiminate these kind of accidents, and yes 6 Lifeguards would help and first aid kit, radio network would help Vigilance.
    The need is to seperate areas of Bay for what its intentions are a quick pee in the sea ???? or wrestle a Shark.
