Complaints regarding thefts by organized gangs of thieves on Baht Buses continue to pour in at Pattaya Police Station. Late on Tuesday Night, a report came in of a suspected robbery involving an Australian Tourist by two Thai women on a Baht Bus, in front of the VC Hotel on the Pratamnuk Road in South Pattaya. Mr. Nezir Nezirovski aged 50, holding an Australian passport alerted members of the public to the alleged theft as the two women left the Baht Bus. They were detained until Police arrived and were found to be in possession of 16,000 Baht which they later confessed to stealing from a pocket on his short trousers. Everyone concerned made their way to Pattaya Police Station where the two women aged 29 and 38 who are in fact Sisters, were found to have been previously convicted of similar crimes. Both were charged with theft and are awaiting a court appearance.

Quote ‘the two women aged 29 and 38 who are in fact Sisters, were found to have been previously convicted of similar crimes’
Indeed they look familiar from previous baht bus thefts, so why aren’t they doing some hard time instead of consistently being found guilty of the same crime?

When will tourist learn!!!! you only carry a small amount of cash in Pattaya, and if you lose it, or if it is stolen you won’t cry over it.

  • J.Y. Kelly

I suggest that the Thai government introduce surgical removal of hands for all thieves. This would lead to a decrease in crimes of theft.

  • khun gerry

Good idea J.Y Kelly..Lets also surgically remove the Genitals from sex tourists, did you just cross your legs.

  • Steve

Steven says: “When will tourist learn!!!! you only carry a small amount of cash in Pattaya, and if you lose it, or if it is stolen you won’t cry over it.”

And when do these Thai people learn that you don’t steal other peoples money?

If you had THB 160.000 i you pocket Steve, does that mean, that you are so silly, that I can just take it? Is that what you mean?

Just use a money belt, or have a firm pockest, and self awareness of where your wallet is. I think the baht buses are fun…but you need to be alert no matter what your doing.

  • James

i’d love to plant a mousetrap in my pocket and get them to wince at the pain from causing to nick from pockets. that will teach them….. or maybe not
