Worker suffers severe burns as he erects a 7-eleven illuminated sign

On Wednesday Afternoon, Khun Nigon aged 33 was rushed to Banglamung Hospital with severe burns sustained as he was erecting a sign for a local 7-Eleven Convenience Store. The incident occurred at the store located in Nong Pla Lai sub-district and according to the victim’s work colleague, Khun Nigon was installing a steal frame which would house an illuminated sign for the store and it is thought the frame came into contact with live electric cables which threw Khun Nigon to the ground. Medics tell us he is expected to make a full recovery but will require surgery on the burns.
