Valentines Day is approaching and one of the most romantic spots in Pattaya for couples to celebrate their love or even to take their relationships one step further and propose marriage, is the top of the Pratamnuk Mountain which offers a stunning viewpoint of Pattaya Bay and the rest of the city. Normally on Valentines Night, the viewpoint area is full of couples watching the sunset. Public displays of affection are often frowned-upon here in Thailand and some are calling for Police to check the area on Valentines Day to make sure that couples are not showing their love for each other in a way which is considered as unacceptable. So if you are planning to visit the area on Valentines Day, try and keep your emotions in check and we suggest a quick cuddle and kiss on the cheek should be acceptable, but if you take it a step further, you may end up justifying your actions to a Police Officer who may end up ruining your Valentines celebrations.

Guys who take bar girls for romantic walks & kisses should be put in jail anyway!
Pattaya Rule #3: Don’t kiss the girls
@nevergoinghome
We all know why the police is not interested at all to fight the escalating crime in pattaya: its a lot easier to get bribe money from “kissing couples” then from the killers, looters, snatchers fraudsters and rapists!!!
