Man killed in late night road crash in East Pattaya
Late on Wednesday Night, Police and Rescue Services were called to the scene of a fatal road accident in Soi Maptado which is a long and poorly lit stretch of road running from Soi Neun Plub Wan down to Soi Kow Tha Low in Jomtien. The accident involved a 4×4 Toyota Sport-rider, driven by Khun Saiyan aged 31 and a motorbike driven by a Thai Man who was carrying no forms of identification. Khun Saiyan explained that he was driving along when the motorbike suddenly pulled out onto the main road. He was unable to brake in time and collided with the motorbike which led to the death of its driver. Police took Khun Saiyan away for questioning and although it is thought he was driving safely and within the speed limit, he may be charged over the incident.
