Medical Staff at the Pattaya Memorial Hospital contacted Banglamung Police late on Tuesday Night to inform them that a young man aged 18 had been admitted with a gun shot wound to his leg. Police arrived and spoke with the victim and his 16 year old brother who explained that the pair were eating dinner at a restaurant in Soi Kow Noi when the younger brother received a call to pick her girlfriend up from nearby Soi Burapa. When he arrived at the location where his Girlfriend was waiting for him, the boy spotted a group of 5 men who were preventing the pair from leaving the Soi. The boy called his brother who soon arrived. Despite his best efforts, he was unable to reason with the group and one of the men produced a gun and shot at the victim, Khun Jitagorn. The gang then fled in the direction of the Sukumvit Road. Police are investigating. |
