Body of new born baby found in undergrowth.
On Thursday Afternoon, Police Lieutenant Choosak from Banglamung Police Station was called to Takiendier Sub-District following the gruesome discovery of a badly decomposed body of a newly born baby. Police arrived and spoke with Khun Boonyeun aged 47. He explained that he had come to this remote location to check about installing a water pump. He brought his dog, named “Tong” with him. The Dog began to bark and started to dig in an area near some bushes. Khun Boonyeun noticed the body of a baby wrapped in a sheet. The Umbilical Cord was still attached to the baby girl and Police suspect the child may have been aborted at an illegal clinic who later dumped the child at this remote location. Police are waiting for the results of a post mortem examination before they continue the investigation.
