Man arrested and accused of stealing 5 oxen.

On Thursday, Banglamung Police served an arrest warrant on Khun Wirort aged 38 who was located and arrested in Kow Mae Geow Sub-District. The warrant stated that the suspect and Khun Wasanchai aged 34 were accused of stealing 5 oxen from Khun Pairat. The suspect confessed to the theft and claimed that he stole the oxen with the intention of selling the animals on for a considerable profit. Khun Wirort is now behind bars on a charge of theft and the 5 oxen, which are in perfect condition according to a local Vet, have been returned to their rightful owner.
