Gold, cash and other valuables taken in car break-in at South Pattaya School.
On Thursday Night, Police Lieutenant Colonel Norawit from Pattaya Police Station was called to the car park of Pattaya School Number 8 to investigate a suspected smash and grab from a parked car. Khun Pensom, the car owner who is also the Manager of the Siam Bayshore Hotel explained to the Investigating Officer that earlier in the day, the Hotel organized a staff sports day and in the evening there was a party held in the Gymnasium, opposite the sports ground. She had parked her Toyota Vios and returned to the vehicle at the conclusion of the party to find that the front passenger window had been smashed and 20,000 Baht in cash, two gold rings worth around 25,000 Baht, a gold necklace worth 35,000 Baht and other personal items, had been stolen. We understand that fingerprint impressions were taken from the scene and they are now being analyzed and matched with those kept on the Police database as Police search for the suspect.
