Nong Nooch Gardens receive a very special guest.

On Tuesday Morning, Nong Nooch Gardens located in Jomtien received a group of Ukranians visitors, one of which has a touching story relating to Nong Nooch. The visit was organized by the Ukranian Embassy in Bangkok and the group included Dr. Yourij Voitjuk who lost his sight 15 years ago. He was always fascinated by Nong Nooch Gardens but never got the opportunity to visit the Park before he lost his sight. On Tuesday Morning his wish came true thanks to the Ukrainian Embassy. Dr. Voitjuk spent the day using his sense of smell and touch and, by all accounts, thoroughly enjoyed his day. Before he left he presented Nong Nooch with a book he had recently published relating to species of trees in Ukraine which was gratefully received by Khun Gumpon, Director of Nong Nooch.
