65 year old fisherman drowns in South Pattaya lake.
Early on Monday Morning, Police Captain Patipuk from Pattaya Police Station was called to a lake in Soi Gopai, South Pattaya, following reports that a man had drowned. At the scene, Police inspected the body of Khun Yong aged 65 who was thought to have been dead for less than 1 hour. The victim was seen fishing at the lake by another fisherman, Khun Yuan aged 35 who saw the man enter the water to retrieve a net. As he did so, the man became submerged and by the time, Khun Yuan made his way around the lake to the location where the victim was last seen, Khun Yong had drowned. Police are waiting for the results of a post mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
