Local Cremation Ceremony for Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Wattana.

On Saturday 15th November Pattaya joined the rest of the Kingdom of Thailand in solemn prayer and contemplation as the final cremation ceremony took place in Bangkok for Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Wattana who passed away In January of this year. Cremation Ceremonies were held across the Kingdom and here in Pattaya the ceremony was held at the Potisampan Temple in Naklua led by the Chief of Banglamung District, Khun Mongkol who was joined by government officers and Police from around the District. Hundreds of Thai’s and many foreigners dressed in black attended the ceremony which allowed them to pay their last respects to the late Princess who was loved and respected for her tireless charity work and devotion to causes around the Kingdom which benefited local communities. The ceremonial cremation took place at 10pm after thousands of Sandalwood flowers were placed at the Crematorium Site in remembrance of Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Wattana.
