Just after 11pm on Friday Night, a group of Swiss Tourists were taking a late night stroll along Jomtien Beach. In a matter of seconds, they had become victims of a common crime and had also sustained minor injuries. As they took their walk along the promenade, two Thai’s on a motorbike pulled up beside the female victim named as Mrs. Susarh Elbia aged 62. A female passenger on the bike dismounted and approached the tourist and grabbed her handbag which contained Thai currency and personal documents. She fell to the floor during the fracas and she screamed for help.
