Local rescue volunteer shot by gang member in East Pattaya.

In the early hours of Thursday Morning, Police Lieutenant Girasak from Banglamung Police Station was called to Banglamung Hospital to investigate the aftermath of a shooting incident involving an off-duty Sawang Boriboon Rescue Volunteer. The incident took place at the front of the Reunreung Village in East Pattaya. The victim, Khun Chairat aged 21, who was shot in his left shoulder explained that earlier in the night he had a disagreement with a local gang of youths based in Soi Neun Pleub Wan. Khun Chairat’s friend was injured in a fist fight with the gang members but was not seriously hurt. Later in the night, the gang members returned and opened fire on the pair, injuring Khun Chairat. Police have received full descriptions of the gang members and are now locating them at this time.
