Transsexual killed in high speed road crash in Naklua.
In the early hours of Wednesday Morning, Police Lieutenant Colonel Norawit from Banglamung Police Station was called to the scene of a fatal road accident that occurred on the Naklua Road in front of Soi 5. The crash involved Baht Bus number 006 and a motorbike, driven by a transsexual, who was carrying no forms of identification. He lost his life in the collision. According to witness accounts and the driver of the Baht Bus, Khun Teerapong aged 35, he was driving along the Naklua Road in the direction of the Dolphin Roundabout in North Pattaya when the motorbike cut across his path. Khun Teerapong was unable to stop and a collision occurred. Police have arrested the Baht Bus driver and charged him with reckless driving due to his excess speed, however they have not charged him with causing death by reckless driving because of favorable witness accounts suggesting the victim was driving in an improper manner.
