6 suspected drug dealers caught by Pattaya Police.
On Tuesday Morning, Police Lieutenant Colonel Supachat, the Deputy Chief of Pattaya Police conducted a press conference to announce the arrest of 6 people in connection with a case involving class 1 drugs. Police seized a total of 397 Yabba Tablets in an operation which began with the arrest of a suspect in October. The name of a suspected drug dealer was given and an operation to arrest everyone in the chain of supply was organized. All 6 aged between 26 and 32 have all been charged with supplying class 1 drugs and are expected to appear in court early next week. The Lieutenant Colonel explained to the gathered press that drug cases are now a priority for Pattaya Police and they are determined to clean-up the streets of Pattaya and rid them of drug pushers and users.
