Baby trapped in car prompts urgent rescue in Bank car park in Jomtien.
Over the weekend there was drama at the Car park of the Siam Commercial Bank main Branch located on Jomtien Beach. Reports came in of a young child who was locked inside a car which had pulled into the car park following a minor road accident nearby. Sawang Boriboon Rescue Workers arrived and became concerned that the child may suffocate due to the high temperatures inside the car. They received permission to break one of the windows and then subsequently rescued the 2 year old girl after spending a total of 30 minutes inside the vehicle. The girl’s mother and owner of the car, Khun Siriyot aged 34 explained that following the road accident involving her Silver Toyota Corolla, she parked her car and in the confusion left her keys inside the vehicle. The girl picked up the keys and activated the lock. Despite the best efforts of her Mother, the girl was not able to unlock the car. Apart from a few tears, the girl was unharmed and the woman was able to continue negotiations with the owner of the other vehicle involved in the accident.
