Two men arrested but deny involvement in Bag snatch.

In the early hours of Saturday Morning, Police Major Wittaya from Pattaya Police Station was called to Soi 29/1 on the Naklua Road to investigate a suspected bag snatch. He was met by the victim, Khun Dararat aged 34 who explained that she was sitting on the back of a motorbike taxi, when two men on a further bike, approached from behind and attempted to grab her handbag. She resisted but the bag was taken and soon dropped by the two suspected thieves who then sped away. The bike soon lost control and the two men fell from their bike and were detained by members of the public nearby. Khun Sureeyar aged 23 and Khun Supagit aged 22 were arrested and taken to Pattaya Police Station where they denied all allegations of theft. Despite this they were charged and the case will be heard in court early next week. For now the two men remain in custody.
