Road accident leads to discovery of class 1 drugs.

On Saturday Morning, Police Lieutenant Colonel Patoonsuk from Sattahip Police Station was called to a road accident which occurred near a recreation ground in Sattahip which resulted in the discovery of class 1 drugs. The crash involved a pick-up driven by Petty Officer 1st Class Narong aged 47 and a motorbike driven by Khun Manoo aged 26 who sustained back injuries following the rear-end collision with the truck. Police soon arrived at the scene and routinely checked both drivers. Khun Manoo was found to be carrying 14 Yabba Tablets and he later confessed that he was on his way to sell the tablets to his pre-arranged customers. The accident occurred when the motorbike hit the rear of the pick-up as it was approaching at a high rate of speed and failed to see the truck initiate a left hand turn off the main road. Khun Manoo was arrested and charged with selling class 1 drugs and will be processed upon his release from Hospital.
